unpacked my Windsor 29er today. everything went together well except I think they tweaked the rear caliper mount in shipping. A little TLC straightened it back out.

medium frame

RS dart 3 fork

Avid BB5 disks

SRAM X5 gear

Rides nice. Feels really big underneath me, but they might be due to it being my first 29er. Let's ride this weekend and test it out.

I hope to overcome that fear of crashing on the steep descents. I came here from the California, the part where it's as flat as a table top. Most of the riding I did was fast and flat, so the hills here are perfect for my Specialized Roubaix road bike. I also kind of ride off road, I am not quite as comfortable off ...

This loop starts at the front gate, follows the road through Lajes to Vila Nova. Climb the hill in Vila Nova and continue to the Agualva/Biscoitos intersection. Stay left and climb the road until you get to the large church. Follow the road to the left and continue until you get to Sao Bras. Hang left at the intersection and haul ass down the hill until you get back to Lajes. Follow the road back to base.
